This winter transfer market is always a period of intense rumour and potential major transfers. A number of high-profile stars find themselves connected to transfers out of their current teams. This article explores a selection of the key names that could be changing clubs in January.

A. Semenyo

As his deal set to expire in the summer, January is the club's last opportunity to obtain a transfer fee for their skipper. Numerous top clubs, including City and several European giants including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, reportedly hold an interest. However, a winter departure is considered unlikely, particularly given the manager's reliance on the player.

B. Johnson

This Wales winger has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Tottenham this campaign. Despite being the club's leading goalscorer last season, Johnson has begun only a handful of league matches. This Portugal playmaker might be set for a return to the Premier League following a spell in the Saudi Pro League.
